Fitch: Dah Sing Bank notes A-

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an expected A- rating to Dah Sing Bank Ltd.'s proposed $100 million of senior floating-rate notes due April 2014.

The final rating is contingent upon the receipt of final documents conforming to information already received.

The notes, to be issued under the bank's $2 billion euro medium-term note program, will represent the bank's direct, unconditional, unsubordinated and unsecured obligations and rank equally with all other present and future unsecured and unsubordinated obligations.

The proceeds will be used for general banking and corporate purposes.
