Chevron intends to sell three-part notes offering

Virginia Beach, Nov. 10 – Chevron Corp. is preparing to sell notes in three tranches, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The offering will include tranches due 2016, 2017 and 2019.

BofA Merrill Lynch, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, Barclays, Goldman Sachs & Co. and Wells Fargo Securities LLC are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including refinancing a portion of commercial paper.

The petroleum, chemical, mining, power and energy company is based in San Ramon, Calif.
