Charys looks to extend exclusive plan vote solicitation period to March 2

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, Jan. 27 - Charys Holding Co. requested an extension to its exclusive period to solicit votes on its plan of reorganization, according to a Monday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The company wants to extend the exclusive solicitation period to March 2 from Jan. 30.

According to the motion, the plan confirmation hearing is scheduled for Feb. 25. Charys said this means the current exclusive period would expire before the voting deadline and the confirmation hearing.

A hearing is scheduled for Feb. 25.

Charys is an Atlanta-based infrastructure services company that filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 14, 2008. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-10289.
