Charter posts $37 million April net loss on $562 million of revenues

Pittsburgh, May 29 - Charter Communications, Inc. reported a $37 million net loss for April on $562 million in revenues, according to a Friday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

The company had $826 million in cash and cash equivalents as of April 30.

Charter Communications is a St. Louis-based provider of video services, high-speed internet services and telephone services to residential and commercial customers on a subscription basis. The company filed for bankruptcy on March 27. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-11435.
