S&P lowers Charter to D

Standard & Poor's said it lowered the corporate credit and issue-level ratings of Charter Communications Inc. and its subsidiaries to D following the company's Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing.

Pending further information from the bankruptcy proceedings, the recovery ratings remain unchanged.
