Chandler, Ariz., plans sale of $252 million G.O. bonds Jan. 13

New York, Jan. 7 - The city of Chandler in Arizona is scheduled to price $252 million in series 2009 general obligation bonds on Jan. 13, according to a notice of sale released Wednesday.

The bonds will be sold on a competitive basis.

The bonds are due from 2010 to 2028.

Proceeds will be used to construct, improve and equip a library, a civic facility, an airport and a public parking garage and to make improvements to streets, to fire and police facilities, to water, wastewater, storm water and park facilities and to fund other improvements in the city.
