CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric to sell 30-year mortgage bonds

Knoxville, Tenn., Jan. 10 – CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric, LLC intends to price an offering of series AC general mortgage bonds due Feb. 1, 2049, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The offering will price and settle in January.

The notes feature a make-whole call until Aug. 1, 2048, and then a par call.

Mizuho Securities USA Inc., PNC Capital Markets LLC, Regions Securities LLC, TD Securities (USA) LLC and U.S. Bancorp Investments Inc. are the bookrunners.

The co-managers are C.L. King & Associates, Drexel Hamilton, Evercore ISI, Samuel A. Ramirez & Co. Inc. and Williams Capital Group LP.

Proceeds will be used for general limited liability company purposes, including capital expenditures.

CenterPoint Energy is a Houston-based electricity transmitter and distributor.
