Cell Genesys investor Kopp reports 12.69% ownership interest

Charlotte, N.C., April 27 - Kopp Investment Advisors, led by LeRoy C. Kopp, beneficially owns 11,012,144 shares, or 12.69%, of Cell Genesys, Inc. following a series of buy, sell and transfer transactions between April 6 and April 17.

The transactions were reported in a schedule 13D/A filed on Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Cell Genesys is a biotechnology company located in San Francisco.
