California Coastal Communities' disclosure statement granted approval

Charlotte, N.C., June 17 - California Coastal Communities, Inc.'s second amended disclosure statement was approved, according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California.

A plan confirmation hearing is scheduled for July 28.

California Coastal Communities, a residential land development and homebuilding company based in Irvine, Calif., filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 27, 2009. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-21712.
