Cambrian Coal nine-member committee of unsecured creditors appointed

Pittsburgh, June 27 – Cambrian Coal LLC’s official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed Wednesday by acting U.S. trustee Paul A. Randolph, according to a notice filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky.

The committee members are chairman Marshall Tucker of TECO Diversified, Inc. of Tampa, Fla.; Amy Horwatt of Austin Powder Co. of Cleveland; Andrew D. Strosberg of Jones Oil Co., Inc./Jones Petroleum, LLC of Louisville, Ky.; Stephen G. Barker of Kentucky River Properties LLC and Timberlands LLC of Lexington, Ky.; John Y. Parsley of Parsley’s General Tire, Inc. of London, Ky.; Joseph Yoerg of Whayne Supply Co. of Louisville, Ky.; Gary Davis of Kentucky Coal Employers Self Insurance Guaranty Fund, based in Lexington, Ky.; Robert J. Zik of Corbin, Ky.; and Pamela Dotson Tester of Hurley, Va.

Cambrian is a Belcher, Ky.-based coal company. The company filed bankruptcy on June 16 under Chapter 11 case number 19-51200.
