Moody’s changes Cenagas view

Moody’s Investors Service said it affirmed Centro Nacional de Control del Gas Natural's (Cenagas) baseline credit assessment of ba1 and issuer ratings of Baa2 (global scale) and Aa2.mx (Mexico national scale).

The outlook was changed to negative from stable.

The change of outlook follows the outlook changes on the rating of Mexico (A3 negative), as well as Comision Federal de Electricidad (CFE, Baa1 negative) and Petroleos Mexicanos (Baa3 negative), the agency said.

Mexico is the company’s the support provider, which provides rating uplift under Moody’s analytical framework for government related issuers, the agency said.
