Morgantown, W.Va., March 8 – China Everbright Bank Co. Ltd. priced $500 million of 2½% notes due 2020 under its $2 billion medium-term note program on March 1, according to a notice.
The bank launched the MTN program in September with its Hong Kong branch as issuer.
China Everbright Bank Hong Kong Branch, CEB International, Citigroup, CCB International, Agricultural Bank of China Hong Kong Branch, Bank of China, BOC Internatinoal, CMBC International, Haitong International, ICBC (Asia), Scotiabank and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank were the joint lead managers and joint bookrunners for the Regulation S deal.
Listing of the new notes on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Ltd. is expected to take effect Thursday.
Pricing details were not disclosed in Wednesday’s notice.
China Everbright is a Hong Kong-based financial conglomerate in China.
