Citigroup plans to price five-year buffer securities tied to Dow

Columbus, Ohio, Oct. 27 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. plans to price 0% buffer securities due Nov. 26, 2021 linked to the Dow Jones industrial average, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus 100% to 110% of the index return. Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 15%, and will lose 1% for every 1% that the index declines beyond the 15% buffer.
Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.
The notes (Cusip: 17324CC87) will price Nov. 21 and settle three business days after pricing.
