Conifer registers $55 million common shares for an initial public sale

Bookrunners BMO Capital Markets and Raymond James to assist with sale

Knoxville, Tenn., July 2 – Conifer Holdings, Inc. will price its initial public offering of common stock with a 30-day greenshoe, according to a Form S-1 filed Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The company has registered up to $55 million of stock for the deal.

BMO Capital Markets and Raymond James are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used to repay debt, repurchase preferred stock, pay preferred stock dividends, for growth and general corporate purposes.

The insurance holding company is based in Birmingham, Mich. The company intends to list its common stock on the Nasdaq under the symbol “CNFR.”
