Moody’s reviews six Italian utilities

Moody's Investors Service said it placed on review for downgrade the long-term ratings of the following Italian utility issuers: CDP RETI SpA, Compagnia Valdostana delle Acque SpA (CVA), Hera SpA, Italgas SpA, SNAM SpA and Terna - Rete Elettrica Nazionale SpA.

At the same time, the agency affirmed Terna’s short-term ratings.

The decision to place the ratings on review for downgrade was prompted by the May 25 corresponding action on Italy's Baa2 government bond rating.
