Chassix U.S. Trustee appoints five to unsecured creditors committee

Pittsburgh, March 19 – The U.S. Trustee for Chassix Holdings, Inc.’s Chapter 11 case appointed an official committee of unsecured creditors for the case on Thursday, according to a March 19 filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

The committee is comprised of Jean Robertson of Beck Aluminum Corp. of Mayfield Heights, Ohio; Sandra Horwitz of indenture trustee Delaware Trust Co., based in Wilmington, Del.; Nicholas Williams of Advantage Opportunities Fund LP of Miami; Jeffrey Miller of Sustained Quality, LLC of South Bend, Ind.; and David Basinski of Koyo Bearings North America, LLC of Canton, Ohio.

Chassix, a Southfield, Mich.-based manufacturer and supplier of aluminum and iron chassis sub-frame components, including steering knuckles, control arms, sub-frames and assemblies, filed for bankruptcy on March 12. The Chapter 11 case number is 15-10578.
