Fitch places CyrusOne on watch

Fitch Ratings said it placed the BBB- long-term issuer default ratings of CyrusOne Inc. (CONE) and CyrusOne LP, and the underlying senior unsecured notes of CyrusOne LP and CyrusOne Europe Finance DAC on rating watch negative.

The rating watch follows CyrusOne's announced sale to KKR and Global Infrastructure Partners in a deal valued at $15 billion, including the assumption of debt, Fitch said.

“The rating watch negative is driven by uncertainties regarding the company's planned operating strategy, particularly regarding its growth strategy and leverage policy, for which details are currently undisclosed,” Fitch said in a press release.
