S&P affirms Croatia

Standard & Poor's said it affirmed its BBB/A-3 foreign currency and BBB+/A-2 local currency sovereign credit ratings on the Republic of Croatia.

The outlook remains stable.

The A- transfer and convertibility assessment on Croatia was also affirmed, the agency said, the ratings on the Republic of Croatia are supported by gradual consolidation of the public accounts, high per capita GDP and the policy anchor provided by E.U. integration.
