Mexico's Comercial Mexicana to start roadshow for $200 million 10-year bonds Thursday

New York, May 17 - Controladora Comercial Mexicana SA de CV will start a roadshow for a proposed $200 million issue of 10-year bonds (/BBB-/BBB-) on Thursday in Los Angeles, according to a market source.

The roadshow will move to the Midwest on Friday, the New York City area on Monday, and wrap up in Boston on Tuesday.

Proceeds from the sale will be used to prepay existing debt and for general corporate purposes.

Credit Suisse First Boston is the sole bookrunner on the Rule 144A/Regulation S deal. Citigroup is the co-manager.

Controladora Comercial Mexicana is a Mexico City-based retailer.
