Congoleum reports $754,000 March net profit

Pittsburgh, May 27 - Congoleum Corp. reported a $754,000 net profit for March on $23.82 million in revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.

In comparison, the company posted a $672,000 February net profit on $24.05 million in revenues.

Cash and cash equivalents at March 31 were $29.56 million, compared with $21.64 million at the end of February.

Congoleum, a Mercerville, N.J.-based flooring company, filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 31, 2003. Its Chapter 11 case number is 03-51524.
