Communications Corp. asks to extend hearings to May 21

Rochester, N.H., April 9 - Communications Corp. of America filed a motion to extend the hearings for termination of its exclusivity and approval of its disclosure statement to May 21.

The request was made in a Thursday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Louisiana. The hearings had been scheduled for April 13.

Communications Corp. of America is a Lafayette, La.-based television station owner. It filed for bankruptcy on June 7, 2006. Its Chapter 11 case number is 06-50410.
