Fitch rates Colorado TRANs F1+

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an F1+ rating to Colorado's $350 million general fund tax and revenue anticipation notes, series 2008A.

The notes will be sold competitively on June 26 and are due June 26, 2009.

The notes are being issued to remedy the state's general fund cash flow imbalance during fiscal 2009, primarily due to the disbursement schedule of school equalization grant funding.
