Cohen Legal hires bankruptcy, restructuring expert Richard Tilton

Knoxville, Tenn., Aug. 21 - Cohen Legal Group, LLC said in a press release that Richard N. Tilton has joined its bankruptcy and restructuring practice.

Tilton's engagements at Cohen Legal Group will include 363 asset sales, loan-to-own strategies, secured creditors, indenture trustees, special conflicts counsel, restructurings and Chapter 11 reorganizations.

Tilton graduated from Wesleyan University and Cornell Law School.

"Rick's notable projects have included representing a group of creditor banks in the first Chrysler restructuring of 1979 and the equity committee in the Chapter 11 reorganization of Public Service Co. of New Hampshire. His expertise and knowledge of bankruptcy law is far-reaching," Adam Cohen, managing member of Cohen Legal, said in the release.
