DBRS changes Coca-Cola trend to negative

DBRS said it changed the trend on the Coca Cola Co.’s issuer rating to negative from stable and confirmed the rating at A (high).

The trend change reflects DBRS’ expectations Coke’s earnings will be hurt by the pandemic and that its earnings profile will remain pressured in the near to medium term due to a weaker economy leading to reduced consumer spending, the agency said.
