Clean Harbors files automatic shelf

New York, April 17 - Clean Harbors Inc. filed an automatic shelf registration in an S-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Included under the shelf are debt securities, common stock, preferred stock and warrants.

Proceeds are slated for repaying or refinancing existing debt, financing the cost of acquisitions, financing capital expenditures and for general corporate purposes and working capital.

Clean Harbors is a Braintree, Mass., provider of environmental and hazardous waste management services.
