By Jim Witters

Wilmington, Del., Feb. 19 - The Chapter 7 trustee for CLA Hold LLC, formerly American Laser Centers,

has declared that the estate holds no assets and is seeking to be discharged from his duties, according to two filings with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

On Feb. 18, trustee George L. Miller declared the case a "no asset case."

In a Feb. 19 filing requesting the discharge of his responsibilities, Miller listed abandoned assets of $14,663 and scheduled claims of $93.74 million.

The claims are to be discharged with no payment.

The case was converted to Chapter 7 from Chapter 11 on Nov. 30.

The sale of substantially all of the company's assets to Bellus ALC Investments I, LLC, was approved by the court on Jan. 31, 2012. The sale closed on Feb. 3, 2012.

No hearing has been scheduled regarding the trustee's request for discharge.

Farmington Hills, Mich.-based American Laser Centers provides laser hair removal and medical aesthetic services. The company filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 8, 2011. The Chapter 11 case number is 11-13853.
