New Issue: Citigroup sells $6.93 million 0% buffered PLUS linked to S&P 500

New York, Dec. 28 - Citigroup Funding Inc. priced $6.93 million of 0% buffered Performance Leveraged Upside Securities due Jan. 9, 2012 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par of $10.00 plus double any index gain, up to a maximum of $12.00 per note.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will be exposed to declines beyond 10%.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the agent.
