BlockFi appointed committee consists of individual unsecured creditors

Chicago, Dec. 22 – BlockFi Inc.’s Chapter 11 case has had an official committee of unsecured creditors appointed by Regions 3 and 9 U.S. trustee Andrew R. Vara, according to a filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.

The committee consists of nine individual creditors: Nicholas Owen Gunden, Corey L. Grossman, John A. Javes, Robert Moleda, Curt Tudor, Elisabeth Carabas, Michael Ilg, Greg Dingle and Brendon Ishikawa.

A section 341 meeting for creditors is scheduled for Jan. 19.

Based in Jersey City, N.J., BlockFi is a crypto financial services company. The company filed bankruptcy on Nov. 28 under Chapter 11 case number 22-19361.
