BGC Partners converts corporate structure; renames company BGC Group
Chicago, Nov. 16 – BGC Partners, Inc. is reorganizing the structure of the company through a series of proposed corporate conversion tranches, according to a press release.
The name of the company will change to BGC Group, Inc.
The Nasdaq symbol is changing to “BGC.”
The company is converting to a full C-corporation from an umbrella partnership/C-corporation.
New York-based BGC is a financial services company.
