Bouchard Transportation posts $5.18 million operating loss for June

Olympia, Wash., July 23 – Bouchard Transportation Co., Inc. reported a $5.18 million operating loss on $47,000 of revenue for the June period, according to its monthly operating report filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

In comparison, the company reported a $5.82 million operating loss on $208,123 of revenue for the May period.

The net loss for the June period was $9.91 million, compared to $9.94 million for May.

The company listed $19.38 million of unrestricted cash as of June 30, compared to $30.93 million at the end of May.

Bouchard Transportation is an ocean-going petroleum barge company based in Melville, N.Y. The company filed bankruptcy on Sept. 28, 2020 under Chapter 11 case number 20-34682.
