Bouchard gets approval to sell aircraft to Surebliss for $44 million

Olympia, Wash., March 8 – Bouchard Transportation Co., Inc. received court approval to sell aircraft to Surebliss LLC for a purchase price of $44 million, according to an order filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

The sale has a closing deadline of March 15, as previously reported.

Transaction expenses include $250,000 payable to Avpro, Inc., the aircraft broker, from the proceeds of the sale, and $12,500 payable to Insured Aircraft Title Service, LLC, the escrow agent, prior to closing of the sale.

Bouchard Transportation is an ocean-going petroleum barge company based in Melville, N.Y. The company filed bankruptcy on Sept. 28, 2020 under Chapter 11 case number 20-34682.
