Fitch affirms Brown Brothers Harriman

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed Brown Brothers Harriman & Co.'s long-term issuer default rating at A+, short-term issuer default rating at F1, individual rating of A/B, support rating of 5 and support floor NF.

The outlook is stable.

Ratings are based on the company's solid track record of performance and its strong specialized franchise in global custody, the agency said.

The firm also benefits from a low-risk balance sheet and ample capital and liquidity positions, the agency noted.
