Fitch assigns Boulder Growth notes A

Fitch Ratings said it assigned A long-term ratings to the series A, B, and C senior notes issued by Boulder Growth & Income Fund, which is managed by ALPS Advisors, Inc. Rocky Mountain Advisers LLC is the fund’s subadviser and provides day-to-day portfolio management.

The A ratings reflect adequate asset coverage at the A level, structural protections given by mandatory de-leveraging provisions in the event of asset coverage declines and legal and regulatory parameters that govern the fund’s operations, Fitch said.

Proceeds will be used at a measured pace in light of the current market backdrop, including the on-going coronavirus pandemic, elevated equity prices and the U.S. presidential election, the agency said.
