Moody's rates Boone Hospital, Mo., bonds A3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an A3 rating to Boone Hospital Center's $100 million of series 2008 fixed-rate revenue bonds to be issued through Boone County, Mo.

Sale of the bonds is expected on June 3.

The agency also affirmed its existing A3 unenhanced rating on debt outstanding as of Dec. 31, 2007, including its series 2002 hospital revenue bonds ($20.5 million outstanding) and series 2004 hospital revenue bonds ($6 million outstanding).

The outlook remains stable.

The proceeds will be used to finance construction of a new patient bed tower and parking structure projects.
