S&P: Bon-Ton view negative

Standard & Poor's said it revised the outlook on Bon-Ton Stores Inc. to negative from stable and affirmed its B corporate credit and CCC+ senior unsecured credit ratings.

S&P said the outlook revision follows the company's disclosure that its results for all of fiscal 2007 will be much weaker than expected.

Leverage for 2007 could be as high as 5.7 times, according to the agency.
