BlackRock intends to conduct offering of notes via five bookrunners

Knoxville, Tenn., April 27 – BlackRock Inc. plans to offer notes, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes feature a make-whole call and then a par call.
Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., Barclays and Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC are the joint bookrunners.
Proceeds will be used to repay the company's 4.25% notes due 2021 and for general corporate purposes.
The investment management company is based in New York.
