Moody’s rates Berkshire notes Aa2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned Aa2 ratings to the ¥122 billion of senior unsecured notes being sold by Berkshire Hathaway Inc. in five tranches.

Berkshire expects to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes.

The outlook for Berkshire is unchanged at stable.
