Moody’s rates Banistmo notes Baa3

Moody’s Investors Service said it assigned a Baa3 long-term foreign-currency debt rating to Banistmo, SA’s proposed senior unsecured notes for up to $500 million.

Banistmo will use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, including funding the bank’s loan growth and the refinancing of maturing debt obligations.

The outlook is stable.
