Barrier Therapeutics files $75 million stock shelf

New York, May 17 - Barrier Therapeutics, Inc. registered to sell up to $75 million of stock in an S-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Proceeds will go toward research and development, expansion of sales, potential product acquisitions and general corporate purposes.

Barrier, based in Princeton, N.J., discovers, develops and commercializes pharmaceutical products in the field of dermatology. The company's Vusion is a topical ointment for infants with diaper dermatitis complicated by candidiasis.
