Barclays calls $3.5 billion of senior notes from two series due 2023

Chicago, Jan. 13 – Barclays plc issued a notice of redemption for two series of senior notes due 2023, according to a 6-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The bank is redeeming its $2.5 billion 4.61% fixed-to-floating-rate senior notes (Cusip: 06738EBE4) and its $750 million floating-rate senior notes (Cusip: 06738EBF1).

Barclays will pay par plus interest to the redemption date, Feb. 15.

The notes were issued on Nov. 15, 2018 with an add on to the fixed-to-floating notes following on April 2, 2019.

Notes may be surrendered to trustee Bank of New York Mellon (corpsov1@bnymellon.com).
