S&P lifts Bansí

Standard & Poor's said it raised its long-term counterparty credit and CD ratings on Bansí S.A. to BB- from B+. The outlook is stable.

S&P noted the upgrade is based on the bank's capacity to continue growing within a very competitive market, the improvements in its credit risk assessment and management, its growing internal capital generation and its stronger capital base.

Large concentrations in the loan portfolio and the deposit base are important factors that constrain the ratings, the agency said.
