New Issue: Thailand auctions 13 billion baht of 1¼% bonds, 4.675% bonds

Madison, Wis., May 20 – Bank of Thailand auctioned a total of 13 billion baht of government bonds in two tranches on Wednesday, according to a bank notice.

The bank priced 5 billion baht of 1¼% bonds due March 12, 2028 and 8 billion baht of 4.675% bonds due June 29, 2044.

The weighted average accepted yield was 2.1517% for the bonds due 2028 and 3.7269% for the bonds due 2044.

The accepted yield ranged from 2.12% to 2.17% for the bonds due 2028 and 3.697% to 3.78% for the bonds due 2044.

The bid-to-cover ratio was 2.01 for the bonds due 2028 and 1.13 for the bonds due 2044.

Settlement will occur on May 22.
