Bank of New York Mellon calls all $1.25 billion 2.6% notes due 2022

Lexington, Ky., Jan. 3 – Bank of New York Mellon Corp. announced that it will redeem all $1.25 billion of its 2.6% senior notes (Cusip: 06406RAA5) due Feb. 7, 2022 on Jan. 13, according to a news release.

The redemption will be at par plus accrued interest to the settlement date.

Payment for the redemption will be made through Depository Trust Co.

After the redemption, the notes will no longer be outstanding and interest will no longer accrue.
