Bank of Montreal intends to sell senior medium-term notes due 2024

Knoxville, Tenn., Jan. 31 – Bank of Montreal is in the market with senior medium-term notes, series E, due 2024, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are non-callable.

BMO Capital Markets Corp., BofA Merrill Lynch, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC are the joint bookrunners.

The proceeds will be contributed to the general funds of the Montreal-based bank and used for general corporate purposes.
