S&P revises views on six banks to stable

S&P said it revised the outlook for six U.S. banks to stable from positive, citing an emerging economic downturn fueled by the coronavirus pandemic.

The changed the outlooks on BancorpSouth Bank, FirstBank Puerto Rico, Popular Inc., TCF Financial, Texas Capital Bancshares, and Western Alliance Bank to stable from positive.

The agency affirmed all its ratings for these institutions.
