Banco Santander Chile talks dollar benchmark notes due 2017 at Libor plus 100 bps area

Atlanta, April 8 - Banco Santander Chile gave guidance in the Libor plus 100 basis points area for its upcoming issue of dollar-denominated and benchmark-sized notes due April 11, 2017 (expected ratings: Aa3/A/A+), a market source said.

BofA Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, Santander and Standard Chartered Bank are the bookrunners for the Rule 144A and Regulation S deal.

The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Pricing is expected on Tuesday.
