Moody's: Santander Chile view to stable

Moody's Investors Service said it affirmed all ratings on Banco Santander Chile and changed the outlook to stable from negative.

The action follows similar actions on its parent Banco Santander SA on Feb. 11.

The change in outlook to stable from negative on Banco Santander Chile's ratings was prompted by the change in outlook to stable from negative on Banco Santander's C- bank financial strength rating (equivalent to a standalone baseline credit assessment of baa2), reflecting the view that downside risks to Banco Santander's credit profile have decreased because of gradual economic improvement in Spain.
