S&P revises view on two Argentine banks

S&P said it revised the outlooks for Banco De Galicia Y Buenos Aires and Banco Patagonia SA to stable from negative and affirmed their CCC+ long-term ratings.

“The rating actions follow the raising of our foreign- and local-currency sovereign credit ratings on Argentina to CCC+ from SD (selective default) after the sovereign’s successful restructuring of foreign currency debt under foreign and local law,” the agency said in a press release.
