New Issue: Banco de Mexico auctions Ps. 13.5 billion of bonds in two tranches

Columbus, Ohio, March 13 – Banco de Mexico said it sold Ps. 13.5 billion of bonds in an auction on Tuesday.

The bank accepted bids for Ps. 4.5 billion of Bondes D with a term of 1,820 days. The bonds priced at 99.32801 for a spread of 16 basis points. The demand for these bonds totaled Ps. 6.25 billion.

The bank also accepted bids for Ps. 9 billion of 7½% Bonos due June 2027. The bonds priced at 99.81660 to yield 7.52%. The demand for these bonds totaled Ps. 21.52 billion.
