New Issue: Banco de Mexico auctions Ps. 5.5 billion, UDI 600 million of bonds

Tacoma, Wash., March 6 - Banco de Mexico sold Ps. 5.5 billion and 600 million UDIs of bonds in an auction on Tuesday.

The bank accepted bids for Ps. 1.5 billion of Bondes D, which have a term of 1,813 days. The bonds priced at 98.51836 for a sobretasa spread of 33 basis points. The demand for these bonds totaled Ps. 5.2 billion.

The bank accepted bids for Ps. 4 billion of 8½% Bonos 30A due November 2038. The bonds priced at 109.39188 to yield 7.67%. The demand for these bonds totaled Ps. 11.35 billion.

The bank also accepted bids for 600 million UDIs of 4% UDI Bonos 30A due November 2040. The bonds priced at 103.86 to yield 3.78%. The demand for these bonds totaled 1.45 billion UDIs.
